scene as a plane crashes at san francisco international airport. two teenage girls have died. one passenger describes what has happened. >> i have my family with me. >> what did you see? >> it was frightening. >> why were you flying to san francisco? >> i was here to meet my brother. >> can you describe the mood? >> the sound was very loud and a landing was loud and we knew that something was wrong. we knew that something terrible had happened. >> what was it like inside? >> it lasted about 10

seconds. and we're just holding on to something and trying to figure out and register what had just happened. and we were trying to get out of the aircraft. >> where were you sitting? >> i was in the middle. >> the airline is also dealing with a couple of that deccrashes over the last 20 years. as it was attempting to land and bad weather. and in july, 2011, just a couple of years ago a cargo slammed into the east china sea. and it is based in seoul, south korea. it is one of our rio's major airlines. it is one of korea's -- major airlines.

we're still waiting for with the press conference from the ntsb. they are about one hour behind schedule. they are still in a closed door meeting and we have heard that they will just requested that the media will still wait. it will be at least one week of the remains will be removed from the site. there are no immediate plans to open the other two of the four runways. >> these delays have continued and expected to get longer. these frustrated passengers understand the problem, what is going on but this frustrating is building. in the meantime, this is a live look at the wreckage. and our team coverage will continue when we come back.

impact. his report sounded like that we were taking off and i could feel the airplane lurching forward. it sounded like the pilot tried to apply power. would he have done that even if you wanted to extend his glidepath. if you are too low and too slow, remember that they should have done something about it. you know this as a pilot what is the psychological impact for pilots and passengers to be flying on a runway. while the wreckage is still there
